Pick the model
Open the Video tab, then the model menu:
| Model | What it does | Durations | |---|---|---| | Best Quality | One continuous shot from a start frame | 5 s, 10 s | | Cinematic | Start and end frame, one scene or several, audio on or off | 5 s, 8 s, 15 s | | Seedance 2.0 | References or frames, audio on by default, up to 4K | 5 s, 8 s, 15 s | | Seedance 2.5 | More references, longer clips | 5 s to 30 s | | Omni | Up to seven image references plus one clip, up to 4K | 5 s to 30 s | | Motion | Copies the moves of a video onto your character | From the motion clip | | Lipsync | The face in your photo says the line you write | 5 s, 10 s |
A row that cannot run shows its reason and stays disabled. It never takes your credits.
Start from a frame
Drop an image in Start frame, or drag a render from the gallery onto it. "Animate exactly this" beats "generate something like this": you get your product, not a model's idea of it. Best Quality and Cinematic will not start without one.
Keep the prompt to one action. "The mug steams gently" works. Three actions in five seconds give you three half actions.
Land on an end frame
Cinematic and the Seedance models accept an optional End frame. The clip starts on the first image and arrives on the second. Use it for a reveal, a before and after, or a product turning to face the camera.
Cut a clip into scenes
With Cinematic, set the Scenes pill to Scenes. A shot editor opens under the prompt:
- Write one line per shot. Each shot is one camera moment.
- Give each shot its seconds. The counter shows the total against the clip's duration and turns red until they match.
- Use Add a shot for up to five. Remove one with its cross (two is the minimum).
Generate stays off until every shot has a line and the seconds add up.
Price
Video is priced per second, and resolution raises it. The duration pill is the price: start short, extend once the shot works.
