About BoostEcom

The AI operating system for Shopify commerce, built by operators, for operators.

Mission

Make the store operable, not just tooled

Shopify operators spend their best hours gluing tools together instead of growing the brand.

BoostEcom starts from one observation: e-commerce is not short of tools, it is short of execution. Between the Shopify admin, ad platforms, email, analytics and automations, the day goes into context switching and decisions wait. The platform flips the relationship: you set the direction, a team of AI agents holds the execution loop and reports back.

Every figure above is read from the code behind it: the agent registry, the feature map, the System manifests and the locale list. None of them is typed on this page.

The shift

From a stack of tools to an operating system

The difference is not the feature count, it is who does the work.

BoostEcom isn't another Shopify app. It's the Operating System where the AI runs the business and you become the owner: not the technician who babysits a dozen dashboards every morning.

How it works

A loop, not a task list

Every agent runs the same cycle, and every pass leaves a trace you can read.

  • ObserveCatalogue, theme, orders, pages, tracking and market signals are read continuously.
  • AnalyseGaps are qualified and ranked, carrying the data behind them rather than a hunch.
  • PlanA dated action plan comes out of the diagnosis, split into steps you can refuse one by one.
  • ExecuteThe agent applies what was approved, within the permissions you granted and no further.
  • EvaluateThe result is measured against the original hypothesis, including when it is disproved.
  • RepeatWhat worked becomes reusable ground, what failed becomes a known constraint.
The team

One orchestrator, 5 specialists

Each agent owns a scope, its tools and its memory. @Atlas coordinates them the way a chief executive would.

Every agent has a full profile on /agents, with its exact scope and what it refuses to do.

Autonomy

You choose the length of the leash

3 levels ship today. The level is set per store and can change at any time. Nothing widens on its own.

  • Level 1 · ProposeDefaultThe agent reads, analyses, and suggests. Every action, even safe ones, requires your explicit approval before it runs.
  • Level 2 · ApprovedThe agent executes safe, whitelisted actions on its own. Destructive, external, or high-spend calls still wait for your approval.
  • Level 3 · AutonomousThe agent runs the playbook end-to-end. Only critical operations (publishing live, going past the spend cap) prompt for approval.

A business that runs entirely unattended is Phase 3 of the roadmap, not a fourth switch: no setting takes you out of the loop today, and we would rather say so than sell it.

Trajectory

Three phases, one direction

We say what runs and what does not run yet, without mixing the two.

  • Phase 1: copilotIn productionThe AI assists the operator across every surface of the store.
  • Phase 2: operatorThe AI takes over day-to-day operations and reports on them.
  • Phase 3: autonomous businessesThe store runs itself, the human keeps the strategy and the ownership.

The milestones are public on /roadmap, with an open vote on what comes next.

What makes it possible

The edge is not the model, it is the context

Anyone can call a model. What changes the output is what the model knows about your store and about the market.

  • Shopify intelligence graphA canonical index of stores, their stack, their creatives and their trajectory, fed by real probes.
  • Bridge AIOne remote MCP server per store, 16 tools, gated twice: by the permissions you approve and by your Custom App's scopes.
  • Store memoryProducts, theme, orders, pages, logs and audits are indexed continuously, so the agent does not rediscover context on every question.
  • Cost guardrailsAn estimate before the stream, a hard cap mid-stream, and every write goes through an approval flow.

The public layer is open at /features/intelligence, with no account or key to get started.

Transparency

Where to check us

Everything we publish about how we operate, rather than about what we sell.

Working with us

Three ways in

We stay deliberately reachable: one paragraph is enough to start.

  • HiringAsync first, written first, transparent pay. The deliverable counts for more than the hours.
  • Investors and partnersWe are sales-led for now. Structural partnerships are discussed directly.
  • PressLogo, brand kit and recent decks sent on request, within one or two business days.

Who builds BoostEcom?About
Christopher Lasgi, a Shopify operator since 2018, who moved from freelance e-commerce work to building the platform. The team is deliberately small and works async.
Why call it an operating system rather than a tool?About
A tool waits to be used. An operating system holds the loop: it observes, decides inside the scope you give it, executes and reports. The difference shows after a week, not in a screenshot.
Does the AI act without my approval?About
No, unless you decide otherwise. Autonomy is set per store and starts at the level where every action is proposed then approved. Every write goes through an approval flow that shows you the diff first.
What do you do with my store data?About
Reads go through the scopes your Custom App grants, never beyond. Tokens are stored as hashes, bound to a single store, and revoked on both sides when you disconnect the integration.
What does it cost to start?About
There is a free plan, and paid plans are billed monthly with credits included. The tiers and how credits are counted live on the pricing page.

@Atlas audits the catalog the day the store is connected and ships a CRO plan, instead of handing back a list of things to go read. Audit to plan, same session.

BoostEcom DemoDemo

Founder

One operator, the full stack: Maya runs the email calendar, Marco curates collections, Otis watches fulfilment. One team, one thread.

BoostEcom DemoDemo

Head of Growth

The work gets done rather than suggested. Voice mode with @Atlas turns the morning check-in into a conversation. It operates.

BoostEcom DemoDemo

Store owner

@Maya rewrites product descriptions, queues them for review, pushes the approved batch live, then runs the campaign around them. End-to-end, with approval gates.

BoostEcom DemoDemo

E-commerce lead

Every action the AI Team takes is graded against real Shopify Analytics after the observation window closes. Outcome attribution, not vibes.

BoostEcom DemoDemo

Marketing lead

OAuth scopes, audit log, store-scoped credits, no shadow data. The agents work inside the admin, not around it.

BoostEcom DemoDemo

Engineer

Permission mode decides what ships on its own and what waits for a human. Autonomy you dial in.

BoostEcom DemoDemo

Operator

Multi-store from one console, each with its own connectors, memory and budget. Per-store context.
