What kind of tools live here

  • Scrapers + validators

Pull product, theme or content data from a Shopify store. Theme schema validators, accessibility scanners, structured-data linters.

  • Migrators

Move between Shopify plans, themes (OS 2.0 → Horizon), or other platforms. Map metafields, redirect legacy URLs, preserve order history.

  • MCP servers

Bring new data sources into @iRen — Shopify Admin (first-party), Klaviyo, Meta Ads, your own warehouse. Drop-in JSON-RPC servers.

  • Theme tools

Section libraries, Liquid linters, hot-reload dev servers, accessibility checkers. Both first-party (Theme Copilot AI) and community.

  • Dashboard widgets

Embed a custom KPI tile in the BoostEcom dashboard. Talks to your APIs, scopes to one org, reuses platform tokens.

  • CI / deploy hooks

GitHub Actions, Vercel hooks, Theme deploy gates. Reuse what the team uses internally to ship BoostEcom itself.

Sourcing

Open source first

Most listings link to a public GitHub repo. We feature tools that are actively maintained, security-reviewed, and integrate cleanly with the BoostEcom CLI. Closed-source tools can list too — they need a clear data policy and a security contact on file.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Does my tool have to be open-source?
Strongly preferred but not required. Closed-source tools can list with a published data policy and a security contact. Open repos earn a `verified-oss` badge.
How does it integrate with the BoostEcom CLI?
If your tool exposes a stable command-line interface or a JSON-RPC server, the BoostEcom CLI can call it directly. We publish a small SDK that handles auth + token refresh — most tools wire up in ~50 lines.
Is there a security review?
Yes for first-party-listed tools. We read the source, check the runtime permissions, and confirm no telemetry leaves the operator's network without consent. Community tools are reviewed lightly — the badge says so.
What about MCP servers?
MCP servers are first-class. The BoostEcom platform speaks MCP natively — drop your server URL into @iRen's settings and it gets the tools you expose.
