How it works
- Sign up for a free BoostEcom account.
- Grab your referral link from /account/settings/referrals.
- Share it with a Shopify merchant — DM, email, blog post, podcast.
- When they subscribe, the link sticks for 60 days.
- You earn 30% of their plan price every month for 12 months.
Payouts
- Paid monthly via Stripe Connect (bank account or debit card).
- No minimum threshold — even a single $49 referral pays you $14.70/mo.
- Tax forms (1099-NEC, equivalent) issued automatically.
- Payouts available in 38 countries.
Eligibility
Open to anyone with a free BoostEcom account. The referred merchant must be a new BoostEcom customer (not previously subscribed). Self-referrals and chained referrals from the same account are not eligible.
FAQ
Can I combine this with the affiliate program?
No — pick one. The referral program is for warm intros (a merchant you know). The affiliate program is for content audiences. Same person, different relationship.
What happens after the 12 months?
The merchant remains your referral on record (we credit you in our internal CRM) but commissions stop. The lifetime cut belongs to the agency partnership tier.
Do refunds claw back commissions?
Only inside the first 30 days after the merchant's first payment. After that, refunds don't affect commissions you already received.
