What it is
Generation is the authoring side of the BoostEcom platform. It produces Shopify-shaped artifacts. page templates, theme sections, product copy, hero images, lifecycle email blocks. grounded in your knowledge base and your brand book.
How it works
- Text generation streams via the Vercel AI SDK + AI Gateway routing.
- Image generation hits a multi-modal model (Gemini image-preview by default).
- Output lands as a draft Shopify object. never as a live mutation.
- Brand voice is enforced by retrieval from your Knowledge module.
- Variants are generated in parallel, ranked, and surfaced for review.
When to use it
For seasonal drops, BFCM landing pages, bulk product description rewrites, A/B variants of hero copy, and image variants when you want to test a new angle without booking a photoshoot.
Limitations
- Generated images cannot replicate copyrighted reference assets. keep prompts brand-original.
- Long-form generation (5k+ tokens) consumes credits faster. batch via workflows.
- Image credits are metered separately from text credits.
