The 12 months run from the merchant's first paid invoice, whatever their billing cycle. Each commission waits 30 days, then transfers through Stripe Connect once you are owed at least $50. Your link and your earnings come with any account, Free included; Max 5x adds one row per merchant you brought.

The rules

What never earns a commission

The code checks each rule when the merchant signs up or pays. Better to read them here than to learn them from a payout that never came.

  • Clicks and signups

    Only a paid invoice earns. A click, a signup or a free account earns nothing on its own.

  • Your own account

    Your link earns nothing on an account you subscribe yourself.

  • A merchant already referred

    An organization keeps the referrer it was created under. A later link cannot take it over.

  • Returning merchants

    Only the first organization of an account counts. An account that already runs one here earns you nothing.

  • Late signups

    A signup more than 60 days after the first click is not attributed to you.

  • Invoices after the term

    Only invoices paid within 12 months of the merchant's first one earn. A paused subscription does not extend that, and an annual plan earns once, on its first year.

  • Declined cookies

    When your reader declines cookies, the link is never stored and the signup does not count.

  • A payout without Stripe Connect

    Commissions accrue, but nothing transfers until your Stripe Connect account is enabled.

  • A balance under $50

    Nothing transfers until you are owed at least $50. Nothing is lost either: the commissions stay due and go out with the next ones.

  • A refunded invoice

    A refund or a chargeback takes its commission back, and one already paid out comes off your next payout.

  • The tax

    The 30% is computed on the invoice net of tax, so VAT is never shared.

Do I need a paid plan to earn?Start
No. Earning is open to every account. The breakdown per referral, invoice by invoice, is the affiliate dashboard, included from Max 5x.
Do I need a minimum audience, or approval?Start
No. A free account carries its referral link from the moment it exists: nothing to submit, no threshold, no review queue. Who reads you is the judgment that matters, and it is yours to make.
Which merchants count?Rules
New ones, arriving through your link. Their first organization, on a fresh account, created within 60 days of the first click. A former customer, your own account or a merchant someone else referred first earns nothing.
Is there a cap on how many merchants I refer?Rules
No. Each merchant runs their own 12-month term, from their own first paid invoice, side by side with the others.
When do I get paid?Money
30 days after each invoice, once you are owed $50. A commission is earned when the merchant pays and waits out the window in which that invoice can still be refunded. It then transfers to your Stripe Connect account, which has to be enabled first. Below $50, it stays due and goes out with the next ones.
What if the merchant gets a refund?Money
The commission goes back with it. A refund or a chargeback reverses it whenever it lands. If it was already transferred, it is netted off your next payout: nobody sends you an invoice.
How long do I earn on one merchant?Money
12 months from their first paid invoice. A monthly subscriber earns you up to 12 commissions, an annual one a single commission on its first year. A subscription that pauses does not extend the term.
