Features

Studio.

The operating system of a creative production agency, running inside BoostEcom. Every verdict, every delivery and every euro of margin lives in one place, and the brand sees its own half of it.

Definition

What it is

Most agencies run on a spreadsheet, a shared drive and somebody's memory. The Studio replaces all three with one system: prospects are scored, brands pass a production gate before entering the factory, concepts carry their proof, every creative goes through QC, and the economics are derived rather than typed. The agency operates it from six sections; the client opens one read-only view of their own brand.

The mechanism

How it works

Six sections for the agency, one view for the brand.

  • Pipeline

Prospects are scored on seven criteria, and the score is derived from what is known. There is no field to type it into.

  • Production gate

No brand enters the factory because it signed. A production gate checks the brand system, the sourced claims, the usable assets and the priority products, and two of those conditions are counted rather than claimed.

  • Concepts

Concepts carry their angle, their proof and their status. A concept nobody validated does not become a brief.

  • Creative QC

Every creative passes QC before it ships. The verdict belongs to the agency, and it is a verdict, not a comment thread.

  • Cockpit

The cockpit derives eleven KPIs at read time. Nothing on it is a figure somebody entered.

The right case

When to use it

  • Use it when

Reach for the Studio when creative production stops fitting in one head: several brands, several people, and a cadence you have to hold. It is built for an agency running client work, and for an operator who wants the same discipline on their own brands.

  • Do not use it when

For a single brand you produce for yourself occasionally, it is more system than the work needs. Start with generation and the workflows canvas.

The limits

Limitations

What the feature does not do. Knowing beforehand costs less than finding out after.

  • The brand's view is read-only, on purpose. Verdicts, validations and gate decisions stay on the agency side, where the responsibility is.
  • A section you do not have permission for is absent, not greyed out. So two people on the same team see two different Studios.
  • Scores and KPIs are derived from what the system knows. A brand that has not been onboarded properly scores low, and no field lets you override it.
  • The executable system library covers nineteen of its twenty-four components. The rest are documented and run by hand.
  • Video production depends on an external generation engine. Where its credentials are not configured, that part of the pipeline is not live.
Nearby

The neighbouring features

Same family, same product surface.

How is this different from the generation features?Studio
Generation makes an asset. The Studio decides which asset is worth making, for which brand, on what evidence, and whether the result is good enough to ship. One is a tool, the other is the process around it.
What is the production gate for?Studio
To stop the factory starting on a brand it cannot work from. Without a usable brand system, sourced claims and named priority products, the output is guesswork wearing a deadline.
What does my client actually see?Studio
Their own brand: the gate it passed, what shipped, what is in preparation, the concepts and the economics. In their language, and without any of your other clients.
Can I give someone access to one part only?Studio
Yes. Each section opens on its own permission, and a section somebody cannot open does not render at all. A disabled tab is an invitation to ask why.
Why can I not edit the scores?Studio
Because a score you can type is a score you will type. Every figure here is computed from what the system observed, which is the only version worth acting on.
